很多人都知道我很喜歡宮崎駿的《夢幻街少女》(這個香港譯名不太貼:看日文原名)。片中的一段天澤聖司在自己的工作間中和他爺爺的友人的小樂隊,玩的是 Country Road 的變奏,但樂器組合卻是地道得很:魯特琴(lute)和牧童笛,還加上一個古提琴(viola da gamba)。古提琴和現代大提琴的比較明顯的分別,在於它是沒有針支撐在地上的,樂師要用兩雙腳托著琴。當然,戲中的音樂還不是用上現代金屬弦的大提琴,可見他們倒是理解這種音樂。這些古樂團現在還經常可見,讀大學亦有這些古樂合奏組合,這裏有一幅真人演奏的圖可作比較,吹的不是牧童笛,而是在十八世紀前常見的巴羅克橫笛。
